The Gold Standard — a gold Art Deco tower mark
Issued on Robinhood Chain

The Gold Standard

A community token in the tradition of hard money — fixed, verifiable, redeemable in nothing but itself.

Seven gold Art Deco forms standing in a row
Independent project. The Gold Standard is community-built. It is not affiliated with, operated by, endorsed by, or connected to The Standard Reserve, its developers, or Robinhood. It is inspired by their work and nothing more. Nobody behind The Standard Reserve has reviewed this token or this page.

Thesis

Draft — rewrite this in your own voice, then delete the box.

A gold standard is a promise that the supply is fixed and the rules don't change on you. $GOLD takes the name literally: one billion tokens, no more, issued once and never expandable. Where The Standard Reserve built a currency that expands and contracts with capital flow, $GOLD does the opposite thing — nothing. The supply is the whole design.

How the price works

$GOLD launched on The Standard Reserve's launchpad and currently trades on a bonding curve rather than an open market. The price is set by a formula against the amount of capital held in the curve: every buy moves it up, every sell moves it down, and there is no order book and no third party making a market.

The curve runs until the token "graduates" at roughly $49,900 of market capitalisation, at which point liquidity moves to an open pool. Until then the curve is the only venue, exits run through the same formula as entries, and a single large sell moves the price as sharply as a single large buy.

Add the full bonding-curve contract address here — the token page shows it truncated as 0x4B0B…4D3a. Copy the whole thing so readers can verify it.

The skyline redraws itself as you scroll. No two readings are the same.

What it's built on

The Standard Reserve is a reserve protocol that runs monetary policy as code. STANDARD is capped at 1,000,000,000 tokens, of which 100,000,000 were minted at genesis as protocol-owned liquidity; issuance expands and contracts with net capital flow through a single canonical market rather than on a fixed emissions schedule. Its publicly identified builder is a pseudonymous developer known as 0xBeans.

Described here for context only. The Gold Standard is a separate token with separate contracts and no claim on The Standard Reserve's supply, liquidity, treasury, or governance.

Risk

This is not an investment, and nothing here is financial advice. The Gold Standard is a speculative token with no intrinsic value, no revenue, no redemption right, and no promise of any return. Despite the name, it is not backed by gold or by any other asset.

You can lose everything you put in. This token is new, held by a small number of wallets, and still on its launch curve — it has no trading history worth the name and no guarantee it ever graduates to an open market. Contracts can hold flaws that audits miss, and thin markets move violently on small trades. Nobody is obliged to maintain a market, a price, or this website.

Trading on this launchpad earns points toward a public leaderboard. That means some portion of recorded volume may be round-trip trading for points rather than demand for the token. Read volume figures with that in mind.

Verify the contract address independently, read the contract if you can, and never commit money you can't afford to lose outright. Digital assets are unregulated in many jurisdictions and may be restricted in yours.
